Henrik Fexeus

On a proud commission from Camilla Läckberg, we had the honor of portraying Henrik Fexeus, Camilla's friend and fellow writer, in a life-size sculpture on the occasion of Henrik's 50th birthday.

The goal was to give a unique and different gift to the Lego fan Henrik, which was also successful.
The model received attention in several media and TV.

The model itself was challenging to create due to the weight and stability of a standing model, so inside the sculpture is a simple steel skeleton that ensures it stands up. The model is then sculpted layer by layer with traditional Lego bricks.
For the face, we enlisted the help of Sweden's probably best Lego builder for just such models, Rickard Stensby, winner from Lego Masters 2020.
Thanks to Rickard, we made the face of the model look very similar to Henrik, even though it is built from static and angular blocks.
